If I don't pay social insurance continuously, can I enjoy maternity benefits?
According to Article 31 of the Law on Social Insurance:
- The period of social insurance payment must be from full 06 months or more within 12 months before giving birth or adopting a child.
- For female employees who have given birth to a child and have paid social insurance premiums for 12 months or more and have to take a leave of absence from work to take care of the pregnancy during pregnancy as designated by a competent medical facility, they must pay social insurance premiums. from full 03 months or more within 12 months before giving birth.
Article 31 does not mention the condition for the period of continuous social insurance payment.
